FUDstrs are saying 1 Bitcoin transaction…

FUDstrs are saying 1 Bitcoin transaction uses a swimming pool worth of water. So let’s do the math on that.

There’s 326 million trillion gallons of water on earth, and the average swimming pool is full with about 20,000 gallons of water:

326 million trillion gallons of water divided by 20,000 per swimming pool is 16.3 billion trillion swimming pools left on earth.

Average block has 3073.75 transactions, and 16.3 billion trillion total swimming pools full of water on earth to pull from, that leaves us with our final math:

16.3 billion trillion divided by 3,073.75 is approximately 5.3 trillion transactions.

There’s really no reason to be afraid we have at least 5.3 trillion transactions left before we run out of water 🤣
